A quarter of a million of Delhi's children living in slums or on the streets do not go to schools.

OCT believes that every child has a right for education and development in the fullest. So the trust strives hard to provide education to children who are deprived of it due to unavoidable circumstances

Our Strategy

  • Identification of non school going and dropped out children from the target locations
  • Motivating children and their parents to pursue education programme which will enable them to look beyond their present day life of miseries.
  • Provide opportunities for quality education, health check ups and latent talent development to the children through the non formal education centres.
  • Mainstream the children from the non formal education centres with government schools.
  • For retention of the mainstreamed children, provide quality education through the remedial education centres.
  • Through recreational means, develop the children's physical and mental abilities
